All the job applications or websites would give you a list of jobs hiring. Chances are, 95% of the times, you would be able to locate a dream job that suits your skills. Be surprised though, those candidates have evaluated the results at a meager 20%, especially when it comes to the job being a dream one!

A lot of this has to be blamed on the ignorance of users of these job databases. People normally look at a list of jobs hiring, with a one-dimensional perspective. This could either be salary, or the company with which they foresee to work. Making a choice based on one of these factors lands job seekers into a lot of trouble. After some months in the job, they end up cribbing about the role.

Here are 3 steps for you to finalize your dream job from a list of jobs hiring

Step 1 – Always start at looking at the job role. If you would enjoy what you are doing, chances are that you could enjoy what the company has to offer you. In more than 90% of cases where employees have stayed with a company for more than 5 years, role satisfaction has been the answer. Remember, role satisfaction can happen only if you identify you are made for the role.

Step 2 – Look at the credentials of the company, you would be joining. By credentials, I mean the work culture of the company. Look for the examples of the friendly attitude or professional attitude of the company.

Step 3 – Last, look at the money you are being offered. Why last? As per a survey done by a Human Resource organization in the States, it was found that only 15-20% of employees leave the company due to dissatisfaction on money. Anyways, remember you had joined the company only after you were clearly explained the terms of employment.

Remember, following these three steps could lead you to what you think, may be your dream job. A job can only be a dream one, if you perform well and your performance is recognized. Do you understand what you need to do to get a dream job from a list of jobs hiring?
